Licensees can apply for PROBAN® labels and the accompanying certificate when fabric samples have been received, tested and meet both flame retardant and durability to washing standards.
| PROBAN® is sold via Rhodia appointed licensees. Licensees have been carefully selected based mainly on their ability to finish PROBAN® fabrics to the highest level of quality. To obtain a license, one part of the investigation is textile manufacturers must demonstrate they have the necessary technical skills and equipment. Quality Control
Licensees must submit fabric samples representative of a production run,
in accordance with the Rhodia’s sampling procedure. These are then
tested at our state of the art wash facilities to ensure they meet both
flame retardant and durability to washing performance. Only then will
licensees be able to apply for PROBAN® labels and the accompanying
certificate.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole accreditation body
