The PROBAN® label is an essential part of the PROBAN® brand. A genuine PROBAN® label means the fabric has been tested to the correct quality standards of flame retardancy and durability to washing. |
The PROBAN® label is only given to licensees whose fabric samples have reached the required FR standards through testing done by PROBAN® Quality Control Department.
To acquire PROBAN® labels for their customers, a licensee must enter into a trademark agreement with Rhodia. This agreement requires licensees to submit samples, taken from each PROBAN® production run, to the PROBAN® quality control department. These labels can then be displayed in finished garments.
PROBAN® labels can be obtained from the fabric suppliers in some countries or directly from Rhodia PROBAN® Quality Control Department. We recommend you request a PROBAN® Quality Control Certificate specific to each PROBAN® fabric from the fabric suppliers. If in doubt of the Quality Control Certificate origin, do not hesitate to contact Rhodia PROBAN® Quality Control Department.
